Celebrate Disability Awareness Month by learning about ADHD from local experts. Snacks will be provided.
Join Dr. Allyssa Mattes, a local pediatric neuropsychologist, in this one-hour discussion focused on supporting children with ADHD. Learn what executive function is, how to support its development in a child’s brain, and how to identify when they need help. Dr. Mattes will focus on the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of ADHD as well as related brain-based understandings of executive functions and how to promote strong executive skills development in children up through college-age. There will be drinks and snacks provided!
