ABOUT USING THE LIBRARY GET INVOLVED
Learn how using different media translates to Riso printing!
In this workshop you will use various physical art media and learn how the Riso interprets different markmaking to create unique prints. Explore combining ink, collage, drawing materials and more to make one-of-a-kind prints!
The Risograph is a piece of printmaking equipment that looks like a photocopier but is actually a stencil duplicator. It takes your original art and uses it to create a stencil, then uses that stencil to make prints in beautiful, vibrant, eco-friendly inks. The Riso was originally used for offices and schools, but is now a champion of printmakers and small presses everywhere.
This workshop is all analog (no computers involved!). Riso beginners to experts are welcome to take this and explore how mixed media art can work with the Riso. All materials provided. Registration opens two weeks prior to workshop date. Ages 13+.
