ABOUT USING THE LIBRARY GET INVOLVED
Learn about NASA's Artemis II mission, which will send four astronauts around the Moon and back as a test of the new Orion spacecraft. Registration is required for this free virtual event.
The goal of the Artemis program is to return people to the surface of the Moon. In the next few years, NASA will take steps toward doing just that. Next up is the Artemis II mission, currently scheduled to launch in April 2026. Artemis II will send four astronauts around the Moon and back as a fully-crewed test of NASA's new Orion spacecraft. We'll discuss these exciting plans and the technologies that will (hopefully!) get humanity back to the Moon for the first time since December 1972.
