The Indianapolis Chinese Orchestra, was formed over 15 years ago by our group leader and conductor, Ka Liang Qing. Ka Laoshi (teacher Ka) is an accomplished musician and highly skilled in playing various traditional Chinese musical instruments. Under his leadership, the Indianapolis Chinese Orchestra has developed into a talented group of amateur musicians that perform with traditional Chinese instruments, whose designs date back over 3,000 years. We perform at various festivals and cultural events and introduce our audience to traditional and contemporary Chinese music while adding in some familiar American music classics for added measure.
Registration is requested but not required.
