A two-part series of 90-minute classes offering a quick and engaging introduction to the basics of programming using Python, a widely used and beginner-friendly language. It is designed to give participants a solid understanding of core programming concepts and principles that are applicable across various programming languages. Through concise explanations and hands-on examples, students will learn the essentials of writing and understanding Python code, making it an ideal starting point for those new to programming.
Students are encouraged to bring their own device. The library has a limited number of Windows laptops available for use during class.
You may register for the second class on Oct. 1 even if you are unable to attend the first class on Sept. 24.
