Teen Writing Challenge
School or University Setting
Saturday, August 01
All day
The theme for HEPL's next Teen Writing Challenge is a story set in a school! Teen writers can submit an original short story for a chance to win a gift card and have their story shared on our website.
Challenge yourself to write a fictional story set in a school or university. A magical school for faeries, a private school with a mysterious headmaster, a senior prank gone wrong, a freshman's first day at college, or anything else you can imagine!
Entries are due by Monday, August 31, 2026. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will receive gift cards and the winners' stories will be shared on HEPL's website! Find out more about guidelines and requirements on our Teen Blog.
You can't win if you don't enter, so send in your entry to teenquestions@hamiltoneastpl.org today! For teens in grades 6-12 only.
