At 2pm join Kurt Meyer for the keynote presentation, "Story Telling: From Novels to Blogging to Social Media" Learn more before and after from local organizations available to answer questions.
Celebrate the US 250th Anniversary with our Hamilton County history organizations. This open-house-style free fair is the perfect way to learn more about your community, its historic places, and how to share your own family story.
Check in with our staff and receive a history passport for the event. Visit all the booths and get your passport stamped for a prize and entry into a raffle!
Don’t forget to find the Crossroads Discovery Center upstairs for a demonstration on how to share your own family story.
At 2pm attend the keynote presentation from Kurt Meyer, Noblesville realtor and author, who will speak on “Story Telling: From Novels to Blogging to Social Media.” Kurt Meyer is a life-long Hoosier. He’s published nearly 300 local newspaper columns and feature stories in decades of area publications like the Noblesville Daily Ledger, the Noblesville Daily Times and NUVO Newsweekly. His former blog, "The Hoosier Contrarian" was part memoir, part commentary. Kurt’s novel, Noblesville was published in 2014 by River’s Edge Media and his 2nd novel, The Salvage Man was published in 2015. Both novels are set in Noblesville. He’s a local Realtor and father & step father to 7 children, and grandfather to 6.
