ABOUT USING THE LIBRARY GET INVOLVED
Dive into the world of Suminagashi, the ancient Japanese art of "floating ink"! This dreamy marbling technique transforms simple sumi ink and water into swirling, one-of-a-kind designs that dance across the surface before settling onto paper. No two prints are ever the same - each one is a surprise! Take your marbled masterpieces to the next level by turning them into bookmarks, greeting cards, or decorative art - and if you're feeling extra creative, add intricate Zen Doodle embellishments for an extra touch! Registration begins two weeks prior to class. Ages 10+.
Our Maker-In-Residence is offering this class repeatedly to allow a variety of patrons to be able to attend. In fairness to other patrons, please register only once for this class during the residency. Thank you!
