ABOUT USING THE LIBRARY GET INVOLVED
Adults and teens (grades 6-12) are invited to this American Sign Language (ASL) for Beginners series led by deaf educator Allison Friedman. Registration required.
This series of three weekly classes will introduce students to the basics of ASL. Expand your communication skills with people with hearing loss by learning about finger spelling, cardinal numbers, common phrases and commands, and deaf culture and etiquette. It is important to attend all three classes in order to receive the full benefit of this opportunity; please check your calendar before committing to the series.
