Celebrate the beauty of fall migration with a guided bird walk at Ritchey Woods Nature Preserve (10410 Hague Rd, Fishers, IN 46038). Designed for teens through older adults, this program invites participants to explore woodland trails while learning to identify migrating birds by sight and sound. Discover why Indiana’s forests are important stopover habitats during migration season, practice beginner-friendly birding skills, and enjoy the changing colors and wildlife of autumn in a peaceful natural setting. No prior birding experience is required; binoculars are encouraged if available.
