ABOUT USING THE LIBRARY GET INVOLVED
Join us at the Fishers Library on the morning of the Local Author Fair to hone your writing skills! Please register for only one workshop as they all run concurrently.
As writers, we tend to focus on taking intangibles/abstracts and attempting to translate them into concepts that are sensible/explainable. This workshop turns that ideology upside down. Instead of writing concretely and civilizing our poetry, we will work on returning to the feral nature of this human experience. Calling on whimsy and wild to delve deeper into our poetic voice. Presented by John R. Hinton, the president of the Poetry Society of Indiana.
Paper and pencils will be provided. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own journals or devices to write in. Registration is required.
