Fishers Make-Off 2025

Ignite Studio will host its second annual Make-Off. Selected artists will compete to make an original piece of art related to Ignite equipment, kits or other in-house materials to highlight the creative possibilities involved in making. Artists will be given 6 hours to complete a work of art which will culminate in the awarding of monetary prizes. Patrons will be able to watch the process of creating art, take part in hands-on activities and participate in a patron art challenge. This year’s theme is abstract art: using the building blocks of art. Make your way to Ignite for an exciting and fun day! 

Art activities for the public include: 

First 50 patrons receive art kits! 

Make your own abstract prints to display. 

Weave a ‘square’ in our community tapestry. 

Design a cover for a personal notebook to take home. 

Follow along to a Creativebug video with provided supplies at the top of every hour starting at 10am and ending at 3 pm.

Participate in our Public Maker Challenge(registration required) from 11am-1pm.
