Mending circle for adults. No registration required, drop in anytime.

Have a hole in your favorite shirt? Your go-to lounge pants wearing out? Repair the clothes you love and extend their use! In this 2-hour drop-in gathering, patrons will repair or alter clothing and other textiles. Keep fabrics out of the landfill! Help your clothes last longer!  Basic mending supplies will be available, (feel free to bring your own) as we share knowledge of sewing, mending and embellishing techniques. Learn the basics of our sewing machines including how to thread the machines, winding bobbins, and sewing in a straight line. Ages 13+.
