ABOUT USING THE LIBRARY GET INVOLVED
Drop in to Ignite and "weave" a decoration celebrating the harvest. In ancient times, wheat was woven into symbols or dolls to protect from evil spirits and bad luck, or as a blessing for the next year's harvest. Create your own "wheat weaving" inspired design. Templates, pipe cleaners and yarn will be provided in addition to traditional wheat stalks. Step-by-step instructions will guide you through this self-directed activity. Materials available in Ignite while supplies last. Ages 5+.
