Ignite Studio Classroom

Mending meet-up for adults to repair damaged clothing and textiles. A different mending skill will be featured each month.

The March Mending Night will focus on Patches. Differing techniques for patching jeans and sweatpants will be presented. Iron-on patches, scrap denim, assorted fabric, and thread will be provided. The April Mending Night will focus on Visible Mending. Learn how to embellish while repairing your clothing/textiles. Patrons will gather to repair or alter clothing and other textiles. Keep fabrics out of the landfill! Help your clothes last longer! Basic mending supplies will be available, (feel free to bring your own) as we share knowledge of mending and embellishing techniques.  Registration is requested, but not required. Ages 13 and up.
