Discover Indiana's vibrant moth diversity with Jeanette Jaskula and learn how gardeners can help conserve these vital, often overlooked insects in their own backyards. Registration requested.
Often unseen and under-appreciated, moths are viewed as the drab and dingy-looking cousins of butterflies. With over 2,700 species recorded in Indiana, nothing could be further from the truth. Indiana moth-er, Jeanette Jaskula, will show the stunning diversity of moths and their importance in terrestrial ecosystems. Gardeners have an important role to play in conservation of moth biodiversity in their backyards and Jeanette will highlight ways to invite more caterpillars and moths to our gardens.
