Join us for 'History Comes Alive: A Journey Through Time,' is a three part educational program designed for homeschool students ages 5-18. Over three engaging sessions, students will delve into the lives of historical figures, mastering basic research skills, creating captivating presentations, and bringing history to life in our grand finale—a Living Wax Museum! This unique experience not only enhances knowledge and research skills but also fosters creativity, public speaking, and a love for history. September 11: Discovering Historical Figures - In this session we will introduce the concept of historical figures, go over basic research skills and pick a historical figure for the living wax museum project.
September 25: Exploring History Through Research - In this session we will work more in depth on research for our historical figures and start working on posters for the wax museum presentation. We will also work on public speaking and presentation skills.
October 9: "Living Wax Museum" Presentation Day - Students will present their posters to family members! Please note that while posters and materials for the posters will be supplied we cannot supply individual costumes for presentations. Costumes are highly encouraged but not required!
